Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Overview
This policy describes what information muglist.org (the “Site”) collects from visitors and how it is used. The Site has no user accounts and does not ask you to register.
2. Location
The home feed can show arrests near you. If you grant the browser location permission, your approximate coordinates are used to query nearby records; if you search for a place instead, the searched place is used. Coordinates are used to answer your request and are not linked to any profile of you.
3. Server Logs
Like most websites, our servers automatically log requests: IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamp. Logs are used for security, debugging, and traffic analysis, and are routinely rotated.
4. Cookies, Advertising, and Consent
The Site is funded by advertising delivered by Ezoic and its partners, which may use cookies and similar technologies to personalize and measure ads. Where required, a consent dialog is shown before any such cookies are set, and you can change your choices at any time using the “Do Not Sell My Information” link on the page. Ezoic's privacy disclosures for this site, including the list of advertising partners, are available at g.ezoic.net/privacy/muglist.org.
5. The Records We Publish
Arrest and booking records shown on the Site are collected from publicly available sheriff, police, and detention center rosters. These records concern the persons listed in them, not Site visitors. For corrections or removal of a listed record, see our record removal policy.
6. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell visitor data. Data is shared with third parties only as described above (advertising/consent partners) or when required by law.
8. Changes
We may update this policy at any time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current revision.
